'Let's face it...life can be hard. Maybe it's a crazy daily schedule with work, meal prep, kids school and extra curricular activities, shopping, cleaning, etc. We can get really caught up in it all.
Then if you have health, financial, or emotional issues on top of that, it can seem like things are spinning out of control.
As Christians we talk about the importance of prayer, but little is talked about regarding being ready for the answer.
Yes,my question is, "Are you ready?!' For the answer that is.
You probably want to blurt out 'YES'! But are you REALLY prepared for the answer?
Sure, we would like to believe we are prepared and ready for the answer to our prayers, but what if the answer is not the answer we wanted? What if the answer to you is no or not now?
When Jesus answers prayer, it typically is not as we have pictured in our mind. This is because our minds are limited, but God is not!
Here is what I know...
God loves us! God wants the best for us! God has a plan and purpose for each of us! Our story is His glory! He will use our storm for good. We can't see the entire picture, but God can! We can trust Him completely!
The answer will come whether it is no, not now, or I have better for you.
Let's not be like the Israelites who were brought out of slavery, but once things were not as they imagined, or wasn't as easy as they thought, they forgot how BIG and MARVELOUS our God is and were ready to go back to captivity. They had forgotten about the Promised Land.
Get ready, really ready, for the answer to your prayers (it is coming), but put all your trust in His answer...He knows best!'
